The open Nordic Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences e-print archive

Hprints is an Open Access repository aiming at making scholarly documents from the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences openly available to the widest possible audience. It is the first of its kind in the Nordic Countries for the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Hprints is a direct tool for scientific communication between academics. Researchers can upload full-text research material such as articles, papers, conference papers, book chapters etc. The content of the posted material should be comparable to that of a scientific paper that a scholar would submit for publication in for example a peer-reviewed academic journal.

For scholars this is an opportunity to gain longstanding visibility. First of all, it is possible to search and find the paper by defined topics through the Internet, e.g. a Google-search. Secondly, all submitted papers will be preserved permanently, receive a stable web address and a unique ID.

When uploading material it is mandatory to give proper source references to e.g. original journals or publishers if the material if the material is published elsewhere. Note also that it is the author's responsibility that publisher's policy and copyright laws are not violated when uploading their own documents.
